This was our first home purchase and we were apprehensive of USDA Loans as we had heard it could be a lengthy and complicated process. Steve did everything we could have asked for and more to help us increase credit scores, eliminate debts, understand the process and terms of USDA, and so much more. He was always available if we had any questions, which is a must in a situation like buying your first home. In the end, we closed early on the home of our dreams with terms we were comfortable with and we couldn't imagine a better experience.

When I first met Steve I was discouraged because many other lenders told me they would be unable to help me purchase a home in the summer because I am a teacher and was changing counties. However, Steve's response was, "Of course we can help you! It makes sense that a teacher would move in the summer, and we want you to have a place to live once the new school year begins." This attitude of positivity and persistence continued throughout my entire homebuying process with Steve.My case was not a simple one, as I have a thin credit history with some recent late payments. I also had challenges finding a down payment assistance program where I fit. Each time I was presented with a problem, Steve found a solution. He was able to help me find ways to raise my credit score 38 points, work out down payment assistance, and become an overall stronger loan candidate. He did all this while being positive, patient, and always available by call, text, or email. His efficient, hard work was so impressive the seller's agent fired her team and hired his!
